Co-op Store, The Avenue, Wivenhoe

Our Lighting Design Team provided a full CAD design complete with lay out plans and data sheets, within 7 days, for all areas of the main store, exterior and back of house for the Co-op store in Wivenhoe. The remit was to provide a complete LED design solution that was both aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient, to follow on from our previous successful refurbishments.

East of England Co-op’s own specific requirements needed to be taken into consideration, in addition to compliance with current guidelines for lux levels and emergency lighting coverage.

We have a wide network of lighting suppliers and are fortunate to work with many progressive local joiners and sprayers. Between us we came up with a superb solution to the client’s requirements, as can be seen in the photos, combining innovation with the latest in LED lamp technology. Additionally, we arranged for the pendant luminaires to be sprayed to bespoke RAL colours specified by the client.

Following receipt of the order, the main store luminaires were on-site within 10 days and the specials on-site within 14 working days. The materials were delivered in stages, as this project was completed mostly outside of shop hours to minimise disruption to the Co-op’s customers. Once again, the installation ran smoothly, efficiently and was completed on time, producing the best results.
