Co-op Store, Market Hill, Framlingham

Check out our recent LED store refurbishment at the Framlingham Co-op in Suffolk.

The remit for the project was to provide a complete LED design solution within 10 days that was both aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient to follow on from our previous successful refurbishments at other Co-op stores. This project proved to be a little more difficult than the others in the past due to complex ceiling angles and types, changing heights and floor levels.

We enjoyed working with several dynamic local companies of joiners for assembly of the Wine Crate lights and sprayers for the finishing touches and bespoke RAL colours specified by the end client. Between all parties involved, we came up with another superb solution to the customer requirements – combining innovation with the latest in LED lamp technology.

Following receipt of the order, the main store luminaires were on-site within 10 days and the specials on-site within 14 working days. The project was completed mostly out of shop hours so as not to cause much disruption to customers. The whole installation was completed efficiently and on time.

The store is now fully compliant with current BS5266 emergency lighting regulations and provides a safe illuminated exit route from the store for their customers and staff.

Our design provides the Co-op with a complete LED environment where they will reap the rewards of significant energy savings and no more expensive call out costs caused by fitting failures. The luminaires we supplied come with a 5 year warranty for peace of mind.
