Co-op Store, Foundry Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch

Check out our largest supermarket refurbishment to date at the Co-op Store on Foundry Lane in Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex!

The remit was to provide a complete LED design solution that was both aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient to follow on from our previous successful refurbishments.

Our Lighting Design team provided a full CAD design complete with layout plans for all areas complete with data sheets, within 10 days, for the Main Store, Concession Store M&Co, Travel Agent, exterior and back of house. The team took careful consideration of the East of England Co-op’s requirements while factoring in compliance with current guidelines for lux levels and emergency lighting coverage.

Combining innovation with the latest in LED lamp technology, we drew from our wide range of contacts to select some skilled local joiners for assembly of the bespoke Wine Crate lights and talented sprayers to add the finishing touches. Additionally, we arranged for the pendant luminaires to be sprayed to bespoke RAL colours and colour coordinated the LED downlights to the logo of the in-store travel agent.

Following receipt of the order, we worked closely with the chosen contractor to ensure materials were delivered in stages as the project was primarily completed out of shop hours to ensure minimal disruption to the Co-op’s customers. The installation ran smoothly and efficiently and was completed on time.
